PoW&DPoS

IERC PoW and DPoS Mechanism

The IERC protocol presents an innovative inscription tick distribution system, which is outlined in a development roadmap consisting of three key phases:

  1. Base Phase: During this stage, we establish the output model for Proof of Work (PoW) Mint by validating it through hash rules. This approach enables anyone to mint inscriptions by providing computational power, gaining widespread recognition and participation from market users.

  2. Integration Phase (PoW & DPoS Phase): During this stage, the mechanisms of PoW and DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) are combined to create a more equitable inscription output model. This integrated model maintains the fairness of PoW, where rewards are based on provided computational power, while introducing DPoS to enhance network governance and security.

  3. Final Phase: In the final stage of the roadmap, the IERC protocol will achieve full modularity of PoW and DPoS. This means that any user will be able to build and customize their own PoW & DPoS extension applications on this infrastructure, making it truly community and user-centric. Additionally, the computational power of PoW will be redirected to support the construction of decentralized indexes, further enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the ecosystem.

Through these three phases, the IERC protocol will drive a decentralized, scalable, and fair cryptocurrency ecosystem for all participants. The design of each stage takes into account sustainability and user engagement, which means stable growth and technological innovation are well-ensured across the entire network.

What is IERC PoW?

IERC POW is a mining output inscription scheme introduced by the IERC protocol for computational power users. It serves as a social experiment within the Ethereum inscription ecosystem.๐Ÿงช

By utilizing Ethereum's "pre-generated hash mechanism," IERC PoW establishes a computational power output threshold for inscription assets. This threshold validates the rarity and value of the assets in a decentralized Proof of Work (PoW) form. IERC PoW follows scientific reasoning and incorporates minimal modifications to enhance the functionality and capabilities of the IERC native protocol.

What is IERC DPoS?

The DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) component of the IERC protocol is a two-stage process that encompasses staking and stake mining. Users stake their valid Inscriptions in designated pools to earn DPoS_EOA points, which can be accumulated and consumed within DPoS to obtain mining rewards. Different staking targets and pools offer varying rates of point generation, allowing users to choose the most suitable staking strategy based on their preferences. Valid Inscriptions refer to assets that are included in the indexing node plans, giving participants the opportunity to make their assets eligible as valid Inscriptions.
